During Yomiuri TV’s panel held on Saturday, fans were treated to fresh details about the upcoming TV anime adaptation of Kikaijikake no Marie. The presentation dropped news on additional voice cast members joining the project and unveiled the very first promotional video, giving us a glimpse into the animated world.

New Voices Join the Adventure

About the Original Story

The Kikaijikake no Marie anime is based on the romance comedy manga by Aki Akimoto. The manga first started serialization in Hakusensha’s LaLa Magazine back in June 2020. The original series concluded with its sixth and final volume, which shipped in September 2023. Good news for fans though, as a sequel manga titled Kikaijikake no Marie+ began its own serialization in LaLa on April 24.

For readers outside of Japan, Yen Press licensed the Kikaijikake no Marie manga for English publication. They announced the license on February 28 and are planning to release the first English volume on August 26.
