About the Original Manga
The anime is based on the romantic comedy manga by **Agasawa Koucha**. It originally started as a one-shot published on the **Shounen Jump+** web magazine back in January 2021. Due to its popularity, serialization began in May 2022 and recently concluded its impressive run of over 3.5 years in November 2024, finishing with 65 chapters. Shueisha published the eighth and final volume on March 4th. The *Seihantai na Kimi to Boku* manga series boasts a cumulative circulation of 1.45 million copies across its volumes.
Additionally, a light novel adaptation was released under Shueisha’s JUMP J BOOKS imprint in November 2023, featuring illustrations by Nishima Shunhito.
International Availability
For fans outside of Japan, Shueisha’s **Manga Plus** platform began publishing the chapters of *Seihantai na Kimi to Boku* in English digitally starting in June 2022. **VIZ Media** later licensed the manga for physical release in English in October 2023.
