Kami no Niwatsuki Kusunoki-tei Gets TV Anime Adaptation!

Get ready for a dose of fantasy and slice-of-life goodness! It was recently announced that Enju’s popular light novel series, **Kami no Niwatsuki Kusunoki-tei**, is getting a television anime adaptation. Production company Kadokawa opened an official website for the project, revealing a cool teaser visual and confirming the anime is set to premiere sometime in 2026.

About the Source Material: The Light Novel

The original story comes from the pen of Enju. They first began writing **Kami no Niwatsuki Kusunoki-tei** (which you might also know as *Kusunoki’s Garden of Gods*) back in April 2021 on the Shousetsuka ni Narou website.

The series was later picked up by ASCII Media Works, who started publishing it under their Dengeki no Shin Bungei imprint in November 2021. The volumes feature illustrations by ox. The light novel is quite popular, boasting a cumulative 500,000 copies in circulation across its volumes. The ninth volume shipped out recently on March 17, with the tenth volume already scheduled for a July 17 release.

Manga Adaptation

If you prefer manga, **Kami no Niwatsuki Kusunoki-tei** also has an adaptation! Anzai Akira started drawing the manga version on the ComicWalker web manga portal in November 2021. Kadokawa has been collecting these chapters into physical volumes, with the fourth volume released in December 2024.

English Release

Fans outside of Japan can enjoy the light novel too! Yen Press licensed the series for English release in October 2024. They’ve been steadily releasing the volumes, with the first one hitting shelves in October of that year. The second volume shipped just recently on May 20, and the third volume is planned for a November 11 release.
