Summer Anime “Turkey!” Episode 2 Preview Cuts Released! Mai and the Crew Embark on a Rescue Mission for the Mysterious Handsome Young Warrior, Suguri, with Their My Balls!
The synopsis and preview cuts for Episode 2 (2nd Throw), titled “Mayotte, Autosupatto,” of the Summer anime “Turkey!”, which began broadcasting from Tuesday, July 15, 2025, have been released.
About the Anime “Turkey!”
“Turkey!” is an exciting original anime blending “Bowling x Time Slip.” Under the direction of Kudou Susumu, the animation production is handled by BAKKEN RECORD, a label of Tatsunoko Production. The story is set in Chikuma City, Nagano Prefecture, and follows the interactions and youthful journey of the five members of the Nagano Ken Ikkokukan Koukou Bowling Club. These friends suddenly time-slip to the Warring States period, where they encounter the people of the Tokura-ke.
At the Ikkokukan Koukou Bowling Club, the club president, Otonashi Mai, values everyone having fun over winning. However, her kouhai, Godai Rina, rebels, stating, “I want to win.” Mai tries to persuade Rina, who is contemplating leaving the club, but instead is challenged to a one-game match by her. As they play, the bowling ball suddenly begins to glow, enveloping the five club members (Otonashi Mai, Godai Rina, Ichinose Sayuri, Mitaka Nozomi, Nikaidou Nanase) in a blinding light… When they finally open their eyes, they find themselves transported to the most unexpected place: the Warring States period!
Episode 2 (2nd Throw) “Mayotte, Autosupatto” Synopsis
Swallowed by a powerful light, they woke up to find themselves in the Warring States period. After navigating through a pitched battle, Mai and the other four miraculously reunite with Rina, who had become separated. But their relief is short-lived, as immediately after, they are attacked by fierce nobushi and find themselves in a desperate situation!
Just when things look dire, Suguri, a mysterious handsome young warrior (voiced by Inoue Kikuko), appears, allowing Mai and the others to escape deeper into the forest. However, the tables turn, and this time it is Suguri himself who is captured. Amidst their despair, the five girls, clutching their trusty bowling balls (“my balls”), launch a daring rescue operation!
