“LycoReco” Chizuru & Takina: Guns and Spider Lilies Expressed with Luxury! Noritake Collaboration Cups & Saucers Now Available
The TV anime Lycoris Recoil has teamed up with Noritake for a special collaboration, bringing forth elegant Cup & Saucer sets featuring Nishikigi Chizuru and Inoue Takina!
Lycoris Recoil is an original TV anime directed for the first time by Adachi Shingo, who is known for his character design and chief animation director work on series like Sword Art Online and the WORKING!! series. The story follows the “Lycoris,” agents of a secret organization called DA (Direct Attack), who prevent crimes before they happen. The narrative centers on the lively and free-spirited Nishikigi Chizuru, a natural-born optimist, and the cool, efficiency-driven Inoue Takina, as they carry out their missions.
Anzai Chika voices Nishikigi Chizuru, while Wakayama Shion takes on the role of Inoue Takina. The series also saw a stage play adaptation in January 2023, with Kouchi Misato as Chizuru and Honishi Sakiho as Takina, followed by a second stage performance in June 2024. Additionally, a new short movie depicting their daily lives, titled Lycoris Recoil Friends are thieves of time., has been streaming on YouTube and other platforms since April 2025.
The charming duo of Nishikigi Chizuru and Inoue Takina from Lycoris Recoil are now beautifully immortalized as individual Cup & Saucer sets through this collaboration with Noritake. Having successfully manufactured Japan’s first dinner sets in 1914, Noritake‘s Western-style tableware and ceramic products are highly regarded worldwide. They are cherished by fans globally for their delicate designs, often incorporating Japanese aesthetics, along with their superior quality and refined elegance.
The Nishikigi Chizuru Cup & Saucer embodies a sense of luxury, featuring motifs of Chizuru‘s signature gun and the striking higanbana (spider lilies). Intricate ornaments are seamlessly integrated, infusing the design with a distinct Japanese flair.
Meanwhile, the Inoue Takina Cup & Saucer also draws inspiration from Takina‘s firearm and higanbana, but its design is presented with soft, watercolor-like touches. This creates a warm and inviting aesthetic, perfect for a relaxing tea break.
Both items boast Noritake‘s exquisite bone china, with sparkling gold accents on the rims of the cups and saucers, promising to elevate your tea time into a truly luxurious experience. Please note that due to the gold decoration, these products are not suitable for microwave use.
These exclusive items are available for pre-order on the online store AMNIBUS until September 10. Products are scheduled to be shipped sequentially starting late January 2026.
