About Kobayashi-san Chi no Maid Dragon
`Kobayashi-san Chi no Maid Dragon` is a delightful interspecies communication heartwarming home comedy, based on the manga by Cool-kyou Shinja. The story revolves around Tooru, a dragon girl who, by a twist of fate, ends up working as a maid at Kobayashi-san’s home, and the unique interactions she shares with the humans around her.
The TV anime adaptation first aired its first season in 2017, followed by the second season, `Kobayashi-san Chi no Maid Dragon S`, in 2021. Furthermore, a new movie, `Kobayashi-san Chi no Maid Dragon Samishigariya no Ryuu` (which can be translated as “The Lonely Dragon”), premiered in June 2025. This film brings to life popular episodes from the original manga, reimagining the heartwarming tales of family and bonds on a grand scale.
