The first episode’s cast and main staff for the TV anime Hanazakari no Kimitachi e have been revealed! These exciting announcements were made during a special program, “Hanazakari no Kimitachi e Special Program ~Namba-senpai and Umeda-sensei Are Appearing, They Say~,” which was streamed on YouTube on August 24, 2025.

Hanazakari no Kimitachi e is a beloved shoujo manga by Nakajou Hisaya, serialized in Hakusensha’s “Hana to Yume” magazine from 1996 to 2004. The tankobon volumes, published under “Hana to Yume Comics,” consist of 23 volumes. The story centers on Ashiya Mizuki, a girl who, in order to meet her idol Sano Izumi, disguises her gender and transfers to an all-boys school in America, leading to a thrilling and often comedic campus life.
Following the live-action drama adaptation, Hanazakari no Kimitachi e ~Ikemen♂Paradise~, which aired on Fuji TV in 2007, an aizouban (collector’s edition) of 12 volumes was released. The series has since surpassed a cumulative total of 17 million copies sold. It has also been adapted into dramas in various Asian regions, maintaining a strong fan base even 20 years after its serialization concluded.
The recent special program was broadcast after the world premiere of the TV anime’s first episode at “Anime NYC” in New York, USA. During the broadcast, new cast members for the first episode were announced.
