The long summer vacation is nearing its end! While some schools these days reportedly don’t assign summer homework, for many, the unique assignments of a long break leave a lasting impression, don’t they?

To truly capture the essence of “summer” alongside our diverse readership at “Anime! Anime!”, the editorial department has decided to tackle a quintessential “summer homework” assignment that almost everyone has experienced at least once!

The chosen task? None other than a “Book Report”! We challenged ourselves to write “book (viewing) reports” on anime works, all centered around the theme of “summer”. In an era where AI tools often generate text, this project was a full-on, head-to-head battle, with essays penned by hand on traditional Japanese manuscript paper! As a special treat, employees from our parent company, IID, Inc., beyond just the “Anime! Anime!” editorial team, also took up their pens to participate in this unique challenge.

In this article, we’re thrilled to unveil all these captivating reports!

And now, we have a special request for all our loyal “Anime! Anime!” readers!

Please cast your vote for the “report” you enjoyed the most! The criteria are entirely up to you – whether it was “the most interesting,” “the most relatable,” or “the most insightful” is perfectly fine! Just pick the one “report” that resonated with you the most and cast your vote.

You can choose your preferred voting method via the <Vote Button> at the bottom of the article.

So, which editorial department’s “homework” assignment managed to capture the hearts of “Anime! Anime!” readers the most? Stay tuned for the exciting results!

(Please note: The voting period closes on Sunday, September 7th, at 11:59 PM JST.)
