To fully explore his intricate life, the exhibition will be divided into two distinct periods, each featuring different display contents to offer a fresh perspective.
The first half of the exhibition will delve into Akagi’s debut work, Ten Tenhou Doori no Kaidanji, focusing on Akagi Shigeru in his later years, portraying him as both a formidable rival and a trusted companion to Ten, the protagonist. The latter half will then shift its focus to the spin-off, Akagi ~Yami ni Oritatta Tensai~, presenting an exhibition centered around Akagi Shigeru’s thrilling younger days.

This POP UP STORE promises to take visitors on a captivating journey through Akagi’s tumultuous mahjong life, right up to its grand finale.
