B-PROJECT Celebrates its Dazzling 10th Anniversary!
The monumental idol project, B-PROJECT, affectionately known as “B-Pro,” which is comprehensively produced by Nishikawa Takanori and features planning and original work by Shikura Chiyomaru, has officially reached its 10th anniversary! To mark this incredible milestone, a special memorial movie filled with comments from its beloved members has been released, and an exclusive anniversary website has also gone live. Fans can look forward to a series of exciting projects being unveiled sequentially to celebrate this decade of dazzling performances!
What is B-PROJECT? A Deep Dive into the Idol Phenomenon
B-PROJECT is a special unit comprised of 14 members spread across four charismatic male idol groups: Kitakore, THRIVE, MooNs, and KiLLER KiNG. Since its inception on September 4, 2015, the project has achieved remarkable success through a diverse range of media mix activities. These include numerous CD releases, large-scale live concerts held at prestigious venues like the Makuhari Messe Event Hall, three thrilling TV anime adaptations, stage plays, and even app games.
Expanding its reach, the project launched its first console game, B-PROJECT Ryuusei*Fantasia, for Nintendo Switch on September 30, 2021. In February 2022, the “B-PRO CHANNEL” began streaming on the official B-PROJECT OFFICIAL CHANNEL on YouTube, bringing fans even closer to their favorite idols. More recently, the third TV anime series, B-PROJECT ~Netsuretsu*Love Call~, aired from October to December 2023. This latest anime introduced a brand-new two-member group called Ultras, featuring the “YourTubers” Aisuke and Biita, further expanding the vibrant B-PROJECT universe.
Today, September 4, 2025, marks the spectacular 10th anniversary of this project! The recently released memorial movie offers a heartwarming look back at the past decade, complete with personal messages from all 14 members. The newly launched special website is brimming with fresh information, including details on upcoming collaborations and merchandise sales at the “Animeate Girls Festival 2025,” scheduled for November 8th and 9th. Fans can also eagerly anticipate the unveiling of a brand-new visual personally drawn by the renowned character designer, Yukihiro Utako, which will be released soon. The Fierce Handsome King Battle Culminates: Who are the “SperanzA”?
The intense “Handsome King Battle” (HKB), a competition to crown Japan’s most handsome high school students, has finally concluded its voting period on September 3rd at 23:59 JST. This special voting project, conducted on the dedicated website, promised that the top 5 members chosen as “SperanzA” in the HKB would be featured on a newly released single with a jacket visual specifically drawn by Yukihiro Utako. Fans absolutely won’t want to miss the announcement of the much-awaited results, which will be revealed during the official radio program, “Gandhara BB+,” airing on September 12th!
Don’t Miss the “B-PROJECT 10th Memory POP UP SHOP 10Frame-“!
Starting September 20th, a special pop-up shop titled “B-PROJECT 10th Memory POP UP SHOP 10Frame-” will be held at Marui no Anime on the 7th floor of Shibuya Modi in Tokyo. This pop-up shop will feature a wide array of merchandise adorned with the many stunning visuals that have graced the project throughout its history. The event will run until October 5th, so make sure to visit and join in the 10th-anniversary celebrations!

On the very day of the 10th anniversary, a flood of congratulatory messages from fans poured into the official B-PROJECT X (formerly Twitter) account. The feed was buzzing with heartfelt comments such as “Congratulations on your 10th anniversary!”, “We’ll continue to support you!”, and “Please continue to shine for many years to come!”.
