The Journey So Far: Bungou Stray Dogs
Bungou Stray Dogs is an exhilarating supernatural battle action series where characters embodying the names of real-life literary masters, such as Nakajima Atsushi, Dazai Osamu, and Akutagawa Ryuunosuke, unleash their extraordinary abilities. The manga, penned by Asagiri Kafka and illustrated by Harukawa 35, began its serialization in Young Ace back in 2012, with related books now boasting over 17 million copies in circulation.
The TV anime adaptation first premiered in April 2016, and since then, fans have enjoyed a total of five thrilling seasons and 61 episodes. As the TV anime approaches its 10th anniversary in April 2026, a myriad of exciting projects and developments are slated to unfold from 2025 onwards.
October’s Extravaganza: Bungou Stray Dogs x h.NAOTO at Marui – Ryouken Shuurai Hen
Kicking off the third announcement phase of the “JuushuuNen Mae Iwai Kikaku” is the exciting October event: “Bungou Stray Dogs x h.NAOTO at Marui – Ryouken Shuurai Hen”! This special collaboration event is set to take place in Yokohama, Hakata, Nanba, and Aomori. The stunning new illustrations for the event shop were personally crafted by Hirooka Naoto, the visionary designer behind the charismatic gothic fashion brand “h.NAOTO.” Fans will be captivated by the members of the “Hunting Dogs” (Ryouken) adorned in collaborative outfits, specially designed with inspiration from the “Special Suppressive Operations Unit, First Division.” Each venue will offer a wide array of merchandise featuring these exclusive illustrations, alongside exciting lottery draws where attendees can win original prizes. The event will begin in Yokohama, then travel to Hakata, Nanba, and Aomori, so make sure to visit a venue near you! For those unable to attend in person, new merchandise from this event featuring the exclusive illustrations will also be available for purchase via Anime Bako’s online store.

November’s Adventure: Bungou Stray Dogs at NanJatowN – Shinobibi no Machi Kankouki
Moving into November, fans can look forward to the “Bungou Stray Dogs at NanJatowN – Shinobibi no Machi Kankouki” event! This marks the fifth collaboration between Bungou Stray Dogs and Tokyo’s Ikebukuro-based theme park, NanJatowN. Six brand-new illustrations will be unveiled, featuring characters dressed as “Shinobi” (Ninjas) from the park’s “Ninja Town” theme.
The venue promises a wealth of exciting content, including mini-games where you can win event-exclusive prizes, delicious collaboration food and drinks, original merchandise, and fun photo spots. And don’t worry if you’re a distant fan! Original merchandise will also be available through the “Namco Parks Online Store,” and mini-games offering the same prizes as the physical venue will be accessible online. This means no one has to miss out on the fun!
