About Kimetsu no Yaiba
Kimetsu no Yaiba (also known as Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba) is an anime based on the manga by Gotouge Koyoharu. Published by Shueisha’s “Jump Comics” in 23 volumes, the manga has sold over 220 million copies, a testament to its immense popularity. The story follows Kamado Tanjiro, a young boy whose family is tragically murdered by demons. His journey begins as he joins the Demon Slayer Corps (Kisatsutai) to fight against demons and search for a way to turn his younger sister, Kamado Nezuko, back into a human after she was transformed into a demon. The series captivates audiences with its poignant tale of humans and demons, intense sword fighting, a cast of charming characters, and well-timed comical moments that provide delightful relief from the dark themes.

In just 52 days since its release, up to September 7th, the film has achieved an astonishing attendance of 22,007,405 viewers and a staggering box office revenue of 31.425 billion yen, showcasing its phenomenal success.
