Dive into the World of Lycoris Recoil
Lycoris Recoil is an original TV anime that marked Adachi Shingo’s directorial debut, following his acclaimed work as character designer and chief animation director on popular series like Sword Art Online and the WORKING!! series. The story immerses viewers in the action-packed lives of “Lycoris” agents, including the free-spirited optimist Nishikigi Chisato and the cool, efficient Inoue Takina. They undertake critical missions for the secret organization DA (Direct Attack), dedicated to preventing crimes before they can even occur.
The anime, which aired from July to September 2022, captivated a wide audience and garnered a passionate fanbase, a remarkable feat for an original animation without a pre-existing manga or light novel. Its success has led to various adaptations and expansions, including novelizations, comic series, and even a stage play. More recently, fans were treated to a series of six original short movies titled “Lycoris Recoil Friends are thieves of time.”, which streamed from April to May 2025.
Chisato and Takina Get Spooky-Cute for Halloween!
And now, from the much-loved Lycoris Recoil, Chisato and Takina are back, this time sporting adorable Halloween costumes as part of the BRILLIANT prize figure brand.
The BRILLIANT brand is renowned for its ability to capture characters in exquisite and elaborate outfits, with figures typically averaging over 20cm in size. These new Chisato and Takina figures uphold that standard, each standing at approximately 22cm tall and boasting intricate details that truly bring their festive attire to life.
Nishikigi Chisato fully embraces the Halloween spirit with a cute jack-o’-lantern themed skirt, perfectly complemented by adorable little devil horns and wings. It’s a truly classic and charming Halloween look!
Meanwhile, Inoue Takina goes for an incredibly cute ensemble, complete with endearing cat ears, a bell-adorned collar, and even a fluffy tail. Her neko-girl style is absolutely charming and full of cuteness!
