Bandai Candy Division is excited to announce the re-release of their popular Tamagotchi Manmaru-yaki, hitting FamilyMart stores nationwide starting September 23!
About the Delicious Tamagotchi Manmaru-yaki
The Tamagotchi Manmaru-yaki is a delightful chilled sweet. It features a chewy, brown Imagawayaki-style pancake with charming dot-art from the original Tamagotchi seared onto its surface. Fans will love discovering all nine different sear designs! Each Manmaru-yaki is generously filled with a creamy, milk-flavored custard that perfectly complements the soft, mochi-like texture of the pancake.
Charming Packaging and Collectible Stickers
The packaging itself is a treat! It comes in three unique designs: a classic Tamagotchi device design, a whimsical UFO design, and an adorable Manmaru-yaki cooking design. A truly characteristic touch is how the beloved Tamagotchi characters playfully peek out from the packaging, adding an extra layer of cuteness.
And that’s not all! Each Manmaru-yaki includes one of nine original design stickers. These stickers boast a variety of charming designs, many of which are themed around sweets and the Manmaru-yaki itself, such as Tamagotchi devices playfully decorated with cream.
Important Changes for This Re-release
Along with its return, the Tamagotchi Manmaru-yaki has undergone a slight price adjustment, moving from 230 yen (tax included) to 250 yen (tax included). Additionally, some minor modifications have been made to both the packaging and the design on the back of the collectible stickers. Please note that unlike the 2024 release, this version will not include the download code for the “Taicchi Yakigurumi” accessory, which was usable with Tamagotchi Uni.
