The grand finale, Shin Evangelion Gekijouban, released in 2021, soared to unprecedented heights, becoming the first in the series to surpass 10 billion yen in box office revenue and garnering immense buzz and critical acclaim.

As 2025 marks the significant 30th anniversary milestone for the series, a dedicated special website has been launched to spearhead the celebrations. The pinnacle of the anniversary year will be a grand real-world event, “EVANGELION 30+; 30th ANIVERSARY OF EVANGELION,” slated for February 2026 at Yokohama Arena. But that’s not all! Catch the Classic! Local TV Broadcasts Announced
Adding to the excitement, one of these special initiatives is the planned broadcast of the Shin Seiki Evangelion TV series. Starting in October 2025, it will be aired on four local stations: TV Hokkaido, TV Kanagawa, TV Shizuoka, and TV Setouchi. This initial broadcast will pave the way for a sequential rollout across regional television stations nationwide, allowing even more fans to experience the genesis of this iconic anime.

In another exciting collaboration, TOKYO FM will launch a regular program titled “FM EVA 30.0” (Efu Emu Eva Saati), running from October 2025 to March 2026.
