The “Nakano Suginami Toshima Anime-tou Chiiki Burandingu Jigyou” (Nakano, Suginami, Toshima Anime, etc., Regional Branding Project) is the driving force behind the upcoming “Nakano x Suginami x Toshima Anime Manga Fesu 2025.” This unique branding initiative is sharply focused on the vibrant worlds of manga and anime, bringing together Nakano-ku, Suginami-ku, Toshima-ku – areas brimming with facilities, industries, and cultures tied to manga and anime – alongside the Tokyo Shooko Kaigisho (Tokyo Chamber of Commerce and Industry). The project’s core aim is to advance “regional branding” by leveraging each area’s distinct characteristics and, through a unified public-private effort, collectively showcase the appeal of these three wards, ultimately aiming to inject renewed energy and vitality into the region.
For Toshima-ku, the festival’s events will primarily center around the historic Tokiwasoo Manga Museum, with November 9th being the key date.
