Unraveling Time: Dive into the World of Time-Leap Anime!
Every year on October 8th, we celebrate “Eien no Hi,” or Eternal Day. This special day gets its name from a clever Japanese pun, as “to (10) wa (8)” phonetically links to “towa,” meaning eternity. While living eternally remains a fantasy in our reality, the vibrant world of anime frequently explores this fascinating concept through stories of characters who freely traverse the boundaries of time.
From heroes journeying to the past to alter a grim future, to characters caught in endless loops of the same day, or even those traversing constantly between different eras – the possibilities are truly endless and captivating. We’re sure many iconic titles featuring these thrilling time-bending narratives immediately spring to your mind!

To dive deeper into this fascinating genre, Anime! Anime! is excited to announce the return of our annual reader survey, following last year’s successful run. We’re asking you, our valued readers, to tell us: “What comes to mind when you hear ‘Time-Leap Anime’?”
This is your chance to share your favorite time-traveling adventures! Simply provide the title you believe best fits the theme in a free-form answer. Please note that your responses should focus on anime works, including TV series, movies, streaming originals, and original video animations (OVAs).
