Announcement
The official website for the Diamond no Ace anime series announced that the second cour of Diamond no Ace: Act II Second Season will premiere in October 2026 on TV Tokyo networks and AT-X. A teaser visual was also revealed.
Production Details
The first two seasons of Diamond no Ace were adapted by Production I.G and Madhouse, airing in Fall 2013 and Spring 2015, and were streamed by Crunchyroll. Diamond no Ace: Act II, produced by Madhouse, aired 52 episodes from Spring 2019 to Winter 2020, also simulcast on Crunchyroll.
The 13-episode first cour of Diamond no Ace: Act II Second Season, produced by OLM, premiered on April 5 and recently concluded. Crunchyroll simulcast the season with subtitles.
Manga Background
The original baseball manga by Terajima Yuuji ran in Weekly Shounen Magazine from May 2006 to July 2015, compiled into 47 volumes. The sequel manga Diamond no Ace Act II ended its 16-year run in October 2022. Two OVA episodes were bundled with volumes 4 and 5 in 2016.
A side story manga, Diamond no Ace Act II Gaiden: Teitou vs. Ugumori, ran from December 2024 to March 2025.
Kodansha Comics USA licensed the original manga in English, publishing digitally from March 2017, with the final volume released in January 2024. K-Manga also offers digital English editions.
