The official website for the television anime adaptation of Saenal Park and Team Argo’s webtoon Tempal: Item no Chikara (also known as Overgeared) has unveiled two new cast members, a third key visual, and a third promotional video. The series is scheduled to premiere on October 2 at 11:30 p.m. on Tokyo MX and BS11.

Voice actress Murata Yuki will play Irene, and Hirayama Yurika (known for Tamon-kun Ima Docchi!?) will play Isabel.
Staff and Production
Kouno Ayako (Sword Art Online: Progressive Movie) is directing the anime at J.C.Staff. Ihara Kenta (Yuusha-kei ni Shosu) is handling series composition, with Tanigawa Ryousuke (Maou 2099) on character design. Music is being composed by Fujisawa Yoshiaki (Mushoku Tensei).
Background
Park originally wrote the action fantasy series as a web novel on Munpia from June to July 2013, before pausing for an official publication. The novel resumed serialization in November 2014 and concluded in April 2024. Maru & Maya published the novel with illustrations by HABAN starting in January 2014, releasing the 96th and final volume in December 2024.
Team Argo began drawing the webtoon adaptation on KakaoPage in April 2020.
In English, Wuxiaworld and Tapas Media have published the web novel digitally since October 2017 and September 2021, respectively. Tapas Media also began releasing the webtoon in English in September 2021. Yen Press licensed the webtoon for physical release under its Ize Press imprint in April 2023. The seventh volume of the web novel went on sale on June 5, while the 11th webtoon volume shipped on August 18. The 12th webtoon volume is scheduled for release on November 17.
