Who are your favorite “Wink” Characters? Survey closes October 7th

Anime! Anime! is conducting a reader survey titled “Who are your favorite ‘wink’ characters?” The deadline is October 7th.

October 11th has been officially designated as “Wink Day!” This special day was established because when the numbers “1011” are laid on their side, they beautifully resemble a face winking with one eye closed.

Throughout the worlds of anime and games, we frequently encounter characters with truly unforgettable winks. Whether it’s intricately woven into their signature pose, subtly used as a clever signal to their companions, or simply revealed in an unexpected, charming moment, a well-timed wink has a magical ability to instantly captivate and enchant the hearts of all who witness it.

To celebrate this delightful day, Anime! Anime! is excited to conduct a reader survey titled “Who are your favorite ‘wink’ characters?” We invite you to share your thoughts in a free-response format, telling us which characters and their respective works immediately come to your mind when you think of a memorable wink.

*Please note: The eligible characters for this survey include those appearing in 2D content such as anime works (encompassing TV broadcasts, movies, streaming, OVAs, and more), games, CD series, and manga.
