About the Series: A Heartwarming Romantic Comedy
Kao ni Denai Kashiwada-san to Kao ni Deru Oota-kun is a delightful romantic comedy based on Higashi Fuyu’s manga, which concluded its 10-volume run under “Dragon Comics Age.” Currently, a spin-off titled Kao ni Denai Kashiwada-san to Kao ni Deru Oota-kun+ is being serialized on “Dora Dora Sharp#”. The story revolves around two middle school students who are complete opposites but are likely harboring mutual feelings: Kashiwada-san, a girl whose face never betrays her emotions no matter what, and her classmate Oota-kun, whose feelings are extremely obvious. The anime charmingly portrays their heartwarming daily lives alongside their classmates.

Episode 1 Synopsis: “Mattaku Kao ni Denai Kashiwada-san to Mechakucha Kao ni Deru Oota-kun”
Get ready for the adorable antics in the first episode!
Oota-kun finds himself endlessly fascinated by Kashiwada-san, whose expressions are utterly unreadable. He tries everything he can think of to surprise her, but all his efforts seem to fail spectacularly.
As Oota-kun grumbles in frustration, Kashiwada-san unexpectedly drops a bombshell comment!
Later, Oota-kun’s class is tasked with cleaning the pool. It appears that Kashiwada-san, who rarely speaks, isn’t quite fitting in with the other girls.
Seeing this, Oota-kun decides to intentionally tease Kashiwada-san, hoping to spark some interaction. What will happen next in this charming romantic comedy?
