A new Real Dasshutsu Geemu (Real Escape Game) collaboration with the TV anime Dandadan, titled “Kaiiki Darake no Toshoshitsu kara no Dasshutsu” (Escape from the Library Full of Strange Phenomena), is set to take place at Real Dasshutsu Geemu Harajuku Store in Tokyo from June 19 to August 31, 2025. Ahead of the event, the full lineup of original goods featuring newly drawn illustrations that will be sold at the venue has been unveiled.
“Kaiiki Darake no Toshoshitsu kara no Dasshutsu” is a collaborative event between “Real Dasshutsu Geemu,” which offers an experience where participants feel like characters in a story through puzzle-solving, and the TV anime Dandadan, which has garnered significant attention, even winning the grand prize at the 2024 “Japan Anime Trend Awards.”
The story is set in an old library scheduled for demolition. Participants, drawn into the library by a mysterious gaze, are suddenly attacked by a spirit calling itself “Bookworm” and trapped as sacrifices for a ritual. Working together with Turbo Babaa (in her beckoning cat form), and Momo, Okarun, and Aira, who were trapped in books while trying to help the participants, this event promises a must-see interactive game experience where you confront strange phenomena together with your nakama.

A standout item is the “Dandadanbooru,” featuring deformed illustrations of Turbo Babaa (in her beckoning cat form) and Momo and the others. Inside are shiny gold-colored banana-flavored candies. Other must-have items unique to this event include the “Magazine-Style Memo Pad,” adorned with the covers of books appearing in the event, and the “Acrylic Stand,” featuring newly drawn illustrations of Momo and friends being abducted (?!).
