Prepare for an enchanting journey! A special collaboration cafe, themed “Tentaikansoku Camp” (Stargazing Camp), for the TV anime *Soosoo no Frieren* has been announced. This exciting event will be held at ORBcafe Ginza Hakuhinkan shop, starting from October 7, 2025.
Embark on a Post-Adventure Fantasy
*Soosoo no Frieren* is a captivating manga serialized in “Weekly Shonen Sunday,” brought to life by the original author Yamada Kaneto and artist Abe Tsukasa. The story unfolds in a world *after* the Demon King has been defeated by the Hero and his party. It follows Frieren, a thousand-year-old elven mage who was part of that victorious party, as she embarks on new journeys and encounters with new companions. This unique premise explores themes of memory, mortality, and the passage of time from the perspective of an immortal being.
The TV anime adaptation, skillfully produced by the animation studio Madhouse, captivated audiences with its first season, which aired from September 2023 to March 2024. The final episode of the first season beautifully depicted the “Ikkyuu Mahoutsukai Shiken Hen” (First-Class Mage Exam Arc), concluding with Frieren, Fern, and Stark continuing their heartfelt journey towards Aureole, the fabled land where souls rest. Fans can look forward to the second season, which is scheduled to begin in January 2026, picking up the narrative from chapter 61, as seen in the seventh volume of the manga.

Adding to the excitement, brand new illustrations have been specially created for this collaboration! These charming artworks depict Frieren, Fern, and Stark dressed in delightful camping attire, happily enjoying stargazing and camping activities in their own ways. Furthermore, the popular Halloween-themed illustrations from last year’s first collaboration will make a comeback, featured on a fresh lineup of merchandise.
Feast on Themed Delights and Collectibles
The cafe’s menu is filled with imaginative dishes and drinks inspired by the beloved series. Highlights include the “Omoide no Hanseiki Ryuusei Drink” (Half-Century Meteor Shower Drink of Memories) and the “Yuusha Himmel no Sawayaka Smoothie” (Hero Himmel’s Refreshing Smoothie), each carefully crafted to evoke the anime’s enchanting world. Every drink order comes with a random “story tag,” with 19 different designs to collect! In an exciting cross-over, a collaboration with Togeshi no Kamameshi “Oginoya” has also been confirmed, offering three types of limited-edition collaboration Kamameshi (traditional pot rice) available at the ORBcafe Ginza Hakuhinkan shop and via their EC site.
Fans will also find an array of collaboration goods perfect for commemorating their visit. The merchandise lineup features adorable chibi character can badges, acrylic stands, and stylish Cheki-style (polaroid-style) cards. These classic fan favorites are a must-have for any collector!
