Which “Light” Character Comes to Mind? Survey Deadline: October 15

October 21st marks “Akari no Hi” or “Light Day” in Japan. This special day commemorates the monumental achievement of the “King of Invention,” Thomas Edison, who successfully completed the incandescent light bulb on the very same day in 1879.

The anime world is brimming with fascinating characters whose very essence is tied to the concept of “light.” From those who wield sacred light powers and those enveloped in a brilliant, sparkling aura, to characters whose very names are derived from “light,” their unique ways of shining truly captivate us all.

Following last year’s popular poll, Anime! Anime! is once again conducting a reader survey titled “Who is your favorite ‘Light’ character?” We invite you to share your thoughts in a free-form response, naming the character and their respective series that you believe best embodies this theme.
