About Nintama Rantarou
Nintama Rantarou is an anime series that began broadcasting in 1993 and has been beloved by a wide range of generations ever since. It’s based on Amako Soubee’s manga, Rakudai Ninja Rantarou (which can be translated as Failure Ninja Rantarou), which started serialization in the Asahi Shougakusei Shinbun in 1986. Set in the Sengoku period, the story depicts the bright, fun, and joyful daily lives of “Nintama” (ninja apprentices) — centered around the trio of Rantarou, Kirimaru, and Shinbe’e — as they learn at Ninjutsu Academy.
A More Serious Adventure: Gekijouban Nintama Rantarou Dokutake Ninja-tai Saikyou no Gunshi
On December 20, 2024, Gekijouban Nintama Rantarou Dokutake Ninja-tai Saikyou no Gunshi (Film Version Nintama Rantarou: Dokutake Ninja Corps’ Strongest Strategist) was released, an animated adaptation of Shousetsu Rakudai Ninja Rantarou Dokutake Ninja-tai Saikyou no Gunshi, a novel highly popular among fans. The film presents a story with a serious tone, quite different from the usual Nintama episodes, starting when Doi-sensei disappears after heading to a duel with Morozumi Sonnamon of the Dokutake Ninja.

This hooded outer jacket features a strikingly relaxed silhouette, adorned with white strings reminiscent of bandages and intricate stitching. And look closely at the left pocket – a mischievous Zattou Konnamon puppet, disguised as a tag, stealthily peeks out! This means you can take him with you wherever you go, anytime.
Doi-sensei Model Trifold Wallet
This elegant, subdued sumi-ink colored trifold wallet features a charm designed to resemble a piece of chalk, gently swaying. The fabric around the flap’s edge showcases an original design, based on winter flowers — a nod to Doi-sensei‘s winter birthday — and sprinkled with motifs related to him.
