Celebrate Tights Day: Join Our Latest Survey!
Get ready to celebrate, because November 2nd marks a special occasion for many anime and game fans: it’s “Tights Day”! This unique day was established because the shape of tights resembles the number “11”, and with a left leg and a right leg, they form a perfect pair of “2”. It’s a fun way to recognize this everyday fashion staple!
You often see characters in anime and games who love to wear tights. Their reasons vary widely: sometimes it’s a stylish fashion statement, other times it’s to brave the winter cold, or perhaps it’s simply a part of their school uniform.
To celebrate “Tights Day”, Anime! Anime! is excited to announce a reader survey, the first in four years! We want to know: “Who comes to mind when you think of ‘tights’ characters?'” Share your favorite characters in a free-form answer – tell us who you believe deserves the spotlight!

- This survey focuses on characters from 2D content, including anime works (TV series, movies, streaming, OVAs), games, CD series, and manga.
- Each person may submit only one response.
Your basic information such as gender and age are optional, so feel free to participate even if you prefer not to disclose them. We encourage everyone to join in!
The deadline for submissions is October 25th. The results will be announced as soon as they are compiled, so stay tuned!
