“Tomie” is a masterpiece by horror manga artist Itou Junji, first published in 1987 and later serialized, establishing itself as his iconic debut work. The series masterfully portrays the terror and chaos brought forth by Kawakami Tomie, a demonic bishoujo (beautiful young girl) whose mysterious charm utterly captivates men, driving them to madness.
