Morikubo-san: “Is This First Class or Nursing Care?”
At the beginning of the broadcast, in a segment titled “Thank You from the Staff! We Made Your Broken Chair Gorgeous,” Okamoto-san’s handmade chair, which had broken during the September 27, 2025 (Saturday) broadcast, was gloriously repaired and made a grand reappearance in the studio. The reborn chair was equipped with a table, a drink holder, and even a mirror, leading Morikubo Showtaro-san to praise it, exclaiming, “It has the dignity of a king!” and “It feels like a throne!”
Okamoto-san expressed his delight, saying, “It’s so much better!” and “It even has armrests!” He thoroughly enjoyed his seating experience, declaring, “This is incredibly good.” Morikubo-san added to the excitement with his unique comment, “Is this first class or nursing care?…”
Following this, in the “Thank You from Mark-un! Full (Total) Coordination Live Change-Up!” segment, Fukunishi Katsuya-san introduced himself as “the genius stylist, Mark-un” and proceeded to live-coordinate Okamoto-san with the theme of “Flower.” Sporting a pink floral jacket and sunglasses, Okamoto-san delivered his cool catchphrase: “I am a flower blooming in ‘Yoasobi’.” Fukunishi-san then elaborately explained the three meanings behind the coordination: “Hana (flower) of the pink rose, hana (glamour/splendor) of the overall outfit, and hana (nose) as a snot-nosed kid.”
Fukunishi-san revealed that he had been conceptualizing this outfit for several months, detailing elements such as suspenders, cropped pants, oversized shoes, and a clip-on tie chosen specifically for Okamoto-san’s impatient nature. Okamoto-san was thrilled, remarking, “So, I actually suit this kind of style!”
Beyond these highlights, the broadcast also included other thoughtful birthday presents for Okamoto-san, who is known for his love of meat, such as gifts from a local Chinese restaurant. Additionally, Morikubo-san and Fukunishi-san read out congratulatory messages from viewers using dummy head microphones, all contributing to a magnificent celebration of Okamoto-san’s birthday. The ending wrapped up in a warm, festive mood with Morikubo-san performing a birthday version of “Yoasobi Shiyouze” titled “Thank You from Spark Ojii-chan! Parody Birthday Song.”
