New information has been revealed for the anime Demons Crest. A key visual and first promotional video have been released, and the opening theme has been confirmed as “Shinka” by Ado. The series will stream worldwide exclusively on Prime Video starting November 6, 2026.
Demons Crest is based on a novel series by Kawahara Reki, known for Sword Art Online and Accel World, which began publication under Dengeki Bunko in 2022. The story takes place in a quarantined world where the world’s first full-dive VRMMO-RPG “Actual Magic” merges with reality, depicting a new death game.
The key visual depicts two worlds: the world of “Actual Magic” and a real world with an unsettling atmosphere. The protagonist Ashihara Yuuma is shown looking back as if he has noticed something, symbolizing the coexistence of the two worlds.
Character visuals for the school uniform versions of Ashihara Yuuma, Ashihara Sawa, Kondo Kenji, and Chano Minagi have also been released. The four characters are shown in the uniform of Yukibana Elementary School, each with an impressive line.
The first PV shows the characters clearing a boss battle during a test play of “Actual Magic” but then being caught in an anomaly.
The opening theme is “Shinka” by Ado, a song written by Vocaloid P Yurii Kanon. The track combines an emotional melody with a dynamic sound, expressing determination for growth and hope for the future. A “15-second challenge” video featuring Ado has also been released.
Additional cast members have been announced: Hirose Yuuya as Kondo Kenji, and Amano Satomi as Chano Minagi. The official anime X account is running a giveaway campaign for a signed poster featuring all four cast members including Shiraishi Haruka (Ashihara Yuuma) and Inagaki Konomi (Ashihara Sawa).

Synopsis
