Soundtrack Release Announcement
The original soundtrack for `Yamato yo Towa ni REBEL3199`, the newest chapter in the `Uchuu Senkan Yamato 2199` series, is officially set to release on Friday, February 20, 2026. This grand project reimagines the original `Yamato yo Towa ni` and `Uchuu Senkan Yamato III` with a fresh interpretation, presented as a seven-chapter theatrical film series. The soundtrack’s launch perfectly coincides with the premiere of `Dai-Go Sho Hakunetsu no Ginga Taisen` (Chapter 5: Fierce Galaxy War).
The iconic music continues under the masterful direction of `Miyagawa Akira`, who has been captivating audiences since `Uchuu Senkan Yamato 2199`. Joining the musical voyage for this latest installment is `Kanematsu Shu`, stepping in as a new composer, arranger, and pianist. The soundtrack is a treasure trove of melodies perfectly aligned with the `Yamato yo Towa ni REBEL3199` universe, featuring brand-new tracks penned exclusively for this work, alongside beautifully rearranged and re-recorded BGM and compelling insert songs from the original `Yamato yo Towa ni` and `Uchuu Senkan Yamato III`.
The collection will include all 40 tracks used in the film, spanning from `Dai-Issho Kuro no Shinryaku` (Chapter 1: Black Invasion) to `Dai-Yon Sho Mizuiro no Otome (Sasha)` (Chapter 4: The Aqua Maiden (Sasha)). This two-disc set will be released in UHQCD specification, which reproduces sound even more faithfully to the original master than conventional discs.
The album jacket is planned to feature new artwork specially drawn by `Asamiya Kia-shi`, who is responsible for the image drawings for `Yamato yo Towa ni REBEL3199`.
