These special videos feature some of the main characters’ most iconic moments and impactful lines straight from the movie’s main footage, giving fans a thrilling sneak peek.

From Manga to Screen: The Phenomenal Rise of WIND BREAKER

This film brings to life the popular action manga of the same name, which began serialization in “Magazine Pocket” in 2021. The original manga quickly garnered massive attention, especially among younger audiences, and went on to win “Recommended Comics by National Bookstore Employees 2022” the following year. Its popularity exploded further with a highly anticipated TV anime adaptation in 2024, which dominated streaming service rankings. Not stopping there, a second season of the TV anime aired in spring 2025, and with stage plays and video games also in the works, the series’ momentum continues to build at an incredible pace.

Sakura Haruka’s Fierce Beginning: A Loner’s Ambition

Dive into the captivating “origin moment” of our protagonist, Sakura Haruka, portrayed by Mizukami Koushi. Haruka is an isolated young man whose only strength lies in fighting. He arrives in town with the goal of conquering Fuurin High School, a notorious hub for delinquents. Haruka and Nirei soon encounter two more classmates: Suou Hayato, played by Tsuna Keito, and Sugishita Kyoutarou, portrayed by JUNON. Sugishita, known as “The Mad Dog” and described by Nirei as “the most dangerous person in this grade,” immediately clashes with Haruka upon their enrollment, leaving a hole in a desk with a single punch – a display of his monstrous strength that instantly changes the classroom’s atmosphere. Amidst the chaos, Suou arrives with a cool demeanor, playfully introducing himself as “Leonardo DiCaprio.” With nimble movements, he steps between the two, casually explaining that Sugishita worships Umemiya, the leader of <Bofuurin>, above all else. The Formidable Foe: Shishigouren’s Leaders

Standing against <Bofuurin> is the formidable <Shishigouren>, an extremely dangerous group. Their leader is Toumiyama Chyouji, played by Yamashita Kouki, with Hamao Noritaka starring as Togame Jou, his loyal second-in-command. As an executive of <Shishigouren>, which preaches “absolute faith in strength,” Togame mercilessly beats down even his own comrades, stating, “We don’t need weaklings.” Toumiyama, however, sports an innocent smile while revealing a fragile, dangerous side: “I want Umemiya, I want Fuurin. Then it’ll be even more fun.” Togame gazes at him with a complex expression, hinting at the loneliness and sadness beneath the group’s savagery. The bonds within <Shishigouren> are far more intricate than a simple hero-villain dynamic, promising a compelling storyline.

Pillars of Support: Hiiragi and Umemiya

Equally vital are the characters who fight alongside Haruka or watch over him. Nakazawa Motoki portrays Hiiragi, one of <Bofuurin>’s Four Heavenly Kings, who guides Haruka and his companions through the town, emphasizing, “Our fights are for protection.” Despite being a fierce brawler among the Four Heavenly Kings, Hiiragi exudes a calming and dependable aura, enveloping his comrades. His patrols through the town eloquently convey <Bofuurin>’s true purpose: to be protectors.

Then there’s Umemiya, the venerable leader of <Bofuurin>, brought to life by Uesugi Shuuhei. His gentle smile as he declares, “Everyone in this town, I consider them family,” clearly showcases his immense capacity as a leader. Yet, in the heat of battle, he tells Haruka, “Fighting is dialogue. The Guiding Light: Tachibana Kotoha

The sole female character, Kotoha, played by Yagi Rikako, is the warm and watchful employee at the “Café Pothos,” a beloved hangout spot for Haruka and his friends.
