Here are several images released in conjunction with the announcement, offering a glimpse into the upcoming film.

New Visuals and Subtitle Reveal

The anime adaptation, brought to life by the renowned animation studio ufotable, first premiered in April 2019 with TV Anime ‘Kimetsu no Yaiba’ Kamado Tanjiro Risshi-hen. Since then, the series has continued to expand, leading up to the events of the TV Anime ‘Kimetsu no Yaiba’ Hashira Geiko-hen which concluded its broadcast in May 2024. The upcoming Gekijouban ‘Kimetsu no Yaiba’ Mugenjou-hen will pick up where the TV series left off and is planned as a grand three-part cinematic event. The first chapter is set to premiere on July 18, 2025. This movie will plunge Tanjiro and his companions into the heart of the demon stronghold, the Infinity Castle (Mugenjou), setting the stage for the ultimate confrontation between the Demon Slayer Corps and the demons.

These latest revelations came during the first night of the “Gekijouban ‘Mugenjou-hen’ Release Commemoration! Kimetsu no Yaiba Seven Nights Special Broadcast,” a marathon airing of the series from Mugen Ressha-hen through Hashira Geiko-hen on Fuji TV and other networks, which began on June 28th.

Both artists have deep ties to the Kimetsu no Yaiba series, with LiSA performing theme songs for Kamado Tanjiro Risshi-hen and Mugen Ressha-hen, and Aimer for Yukaku-hen (Entertainment District Arc). Their new songs are set to dramatically underscore the final battle, making them something truly worth looking forward to.
