TV anime Bungo Stray Dogs season 1 opening and ending theme music videos were released on May 11. Commemorating the 10th anniversary of the release of both songs, they have been created using iconic scenes from the series.
Bungo Stray Dogs is an异能 battle action featuring characters bearing the names of real literary figures such as Atsushi Nakajima, Osamu Dazai, and Ryunosuke Akutagawa. It began serialization in Young Ace in 2012, and the series has sold over 17.5 million copies in total. The TV anime started broadcasting season 1 in April 2016, and has since aired 61 episodes across 5 seasons. To celebrate the 10th anniversary of the anime adaptation in April 2026, various projects are currently underway.
Released this time are the animation MVs for the season 1 OP theme “TRASH CANDY” by GRANRODEO and the ED theme “Namae o Yobu yo” by Luck Life.

Luck Life is a guitar rock band consisting of PON (Vo & Gt), ikoma (Gt & Cho), Taku (Ba), and LOVE Oishi (Dr). Both have provided theme songs for many series of Bungo Stray Dogs.
The OP theme “TRASH CANDY” combines a heavy, fast-paced track with action scenes for a powerful finish.
The ED theme “Namae o Yobu yo” distills the human drama of each character, and combined with the ballad-like song, leaves a sentimental aftertaste.
In addition, on May 11, a digital release of Luck Life’s “Namae o Yobu yo -10th Anniversary One Shot ver.-” began. On May 23, the Tokyo performance of the soundtrack live “Bungo Stray Dogs – Mayoi Inu Tachi no Oto Kan -” is scheduled, and the music side is also heating up.
