As the author, I am incredibly happy that readers who enjoyed `Shounen Ashibe` in the past, now adults, can once again watch `Kogoma Ashibe QQ Goma-chan` with their children, both in manga and anime form. Ashibe, who was a first-grader 34 years ago, is now in third grade, and Goma-chan has also grown a little. Please look forward to their stories!

Working on this production has once again made me realize the difficulty of conveying the emotions of Goma-chan, who doesn’t speak. When the project was decided, it felt like receiving the most wonderful, biggest gift. As a huge fan of Morishita Hiromi-sensei’s works, my heart was so full that I wanted to tell my younger self, “Keep going straight ahead in life, just like this!”
