About the PSYCHO-PASS Saikopasu Series
The original anime series PSYCHO-PASS Saikopasu first captivated audiences with its first TV anime season in 2012, followed by a second season in 2014 and a third in 2019. Set in a dystopian near-future society where human psychological states are quantified and managed, the series delves into the complexities of justice through the eyes of its police force.
The franchise expanded with its first theatrical film in 2015, followed by a trilogy of movies released consecutively in 2019. The concluding chapter of the third TV anime season also received a theatrical release in 2020. Celebrating its 10th anniversary in 2022, a special project was launched, culminating in the release of the latest film in the series, Gekijouban PSYCHO-PASS Saikopasu PROVIDENCE, in 2023.
