About Gekijouban Nintama Rantarou Dokutake Ninja-tai Saikyou no Gunshi
Gekijouban Nintama Rantarou Dokutake Ninja-tai Saikyou no Gunshi (which can be translated as “Nintama Rantarou the Movie: The Mightiest Commander of the Dokutake Ninja Army”) is an eagerly anticipated animated film that brings to life the highly popular novel, Shousetsu Ochudai Ninja Rantarou Dokutake Ninja-tai Saikyou no Gunshi. This cinematic adaptation plunges viewers into a more serious and intense storyline, a departure from the usual comedic adventures of Nintama Rantarou. The plot kicks off dramatically when Doi Hansuke-sensei vanishes after heading off to a duel with the Tasogaredoki ninja, Morozumi Sonnamon, setting the stage for unexpected twists and turns.

The film boasts a talented team, with Fujimori Masaya-kantoku (Director Fujimori) at the helm. He previously served as the original character designer and directed the previous movie, Gekijouban Anime Nintama Rantarou Ninjutsu Gakuen Zenin Shutsujin! no Dan. The screenplay was penned by Sakaguchi Kazuhisa, the original author of Shousetsu Ochudai Ninja Rantarou Dokutake Ninja-tai Saikyou no Gunshi, who also contributes to the TV series. Asia-do, the animation studio behind the long-running TV series, continues its excellent work on this film. The movie features a stellar cast of familiar voice actors, including Takayama Minami, Tanaka Mayumi, Ichiryusai Teiyu, and Seki Toshihiko, ensuring that the beloved characters sound just as fans remember them.
