Hanabie. Conquers Europe with Record-Breaking Tour and Anime OP Theme
Tokyo-based girls loud rock band, Hanabie., has just wrapped up their incredibly successful “HANABIE. EU&UK TOUR 2025”! This triumphant tour saw them perform all 23 shows over approximately one month, starting from late October 2025. This achievement comes hot on the heels of their first-ever anime theme song, which was featured as the opening for the TV anime Momentary Lily, broadcast from January 2025.
This tour was Hanabie.’s largest headliner tour to date, visiting major European cities across the UK, Germany, France, Spain, Poland, the Netherlands, Austria, and the Czech Republic. They achieved an astounding feat, selling out 17 cities and mobilizing a cumulative total of 25,000 spectators! Local fans greeted them with immense enthusiasm, solidifying their growing international reputation. This remarkable success truly showcases the unstoppable momentum of the band.
The final day of the tour, November 30, was held at the “Mon Madrid” live house in Madrid, Spain. This show was also completely sold out, culminating the tour with an overwhelming performance that enveloped the entire venue in electrifying energy.

Adding to the excitement, a surprise announcement was made on stage during the final Madrid concert: the release of their new EP, HOT TOPIC! The news sent the fans into an absolute frenzy. This upcoming EP is packed with Hanabie.’s signature heaviness and catchy melodies, and it’s scheduled to drop on January 28, 2026.
Unveiling “HOT TOPIC”: A Fusion of Loud Rock and Japanese Culture
The EP HOT TOPIC embraces the theme of “transmitting Japan culture.” It’s a masterful blend of loud rock and metalcore foundations, infused with unpredictable developments, pop elements, and sharp shouts. The EP encapsulates their current evolution, honed through appearances at international festivals like “Lollapalooza 2024” (Chicago) and “Wacken Open Air 2025” (Germany), as well as their recent headliner tours.
Domestic and North American Tours on the Horizon!
But the excitement doesn’t stop there! Starting in February 2026, Hanabie. will embark on their domestic tour, “Moshi Kashi te! Kotoshi Koso Japan Tour 2026.” This 5-city tour will visit Fukuoka, Osaka, Nagoya, Sendai, and conclude with a grand finale at Zepp Haneda in Tokyo. Furthermore, a massive 21-show North American headliner tour, “HANABIE. 2026 NORTH AMERICA TOUR,” has been announced, commencing in March. This extensive tour will take them through major North American cities including Boston, New York, Toronto, Chicago, and Los Angeles. In addition to these, they are slated to perform at “KNOTFEST 2025” in Mexico on December 6 and a Hawaii concert on January 10, 2026. It’s clear that their activities, both in Japan and internationally, are set to become even more vibrant!
Hanabie.: From High School Club to Global Sensation
Hanabie. was originally formed in 2015 by Yukina, Matsuri, and Hetsu in their high school’s light music club. The current four-member lineup solidified with the addition of Chika in May 2023. Despite their petite and cute appearance, their charm lies in their unique sound: a seamless blend of heavy sounds and intense shouts with a distinct Japanese flavor. This distinctive style has led to a rapid surge in fans, both domestically and overseas.
Their representative track, “Osaki ni Shitsurei Shimasu.”, has achieved viral status with its music video garnering over 5.2 million views on TikTok and surpassing 10.7 million views on YouTube.
