Ikuta Rira will digitally release her second album “Laugh” on December 10, 2025, and physically on CD on January 14, 2026, after approximately three years. To celebrate the album, a live tour will be held in May 2026 in Hyogo, Kanagawa, and Seoul, with a total of five performances, including her first overseas solo show. Advance ticket sales for domestic performances have begun for fan club members, and initial album editions will also include a ticket application.
Singer-songwriter Ikuta Rira, widely known for her captivating vocals as ikura in YOASOBI, is set to release her highly anticipated new album, Laugh. The album will first be available digitally on December 10, 2025, followed by a physical CD release on January 14, 2026. Along with this exciting announcement, the album’s dazzling jacket artwork was unveiled today!
Fans have been eagerly awaiting this moment, as Laugh marks her first full album in approximately three years since the release of her previous hit album, Sketch.
During this period, Ikuta Rira has been incredibly busy, expanding her artistic horizons in various exciting ways. She penned “Hyakka Ryooran” (meaning “Myriad of Flowers”), her very first anime opening theme song, for the first cour of the second season of the TV anime Kusuriya no Hitorigoto, which began airing in January 2025. In April 2025, she wrote “Sing along!!!” as the ending theme for the movie Paripi Koumei THE MOVIE. Her new single, “Koi Kaze” (meaning “Love Wind”), digitally released in April, also served as the theme song for ABEMA’s reality show Kyou, Suki ni Narimashita.. This album promises to be a vibrant collection of songs that beautifully showcase her journey and the diverse challenges she has embraced as an artist. The album will be released in two exciting formats: a Limited First Production Edition and a Regular Edition (First Press). The Limited First Production Edition is a premium package, boasting two CDs, a special A5-sized package, and an exclusive Photo Book, priced at 4,800 yen (tax included). The Regular Edition (First Press) will contain one CD and is priced at 3,800 yen (tax included). Both editions will include a serial code for an advance lottery entry for tickets to her highly anticipated May 2026 tour.
But the excitement doesn’t stop there! To celebrate the album’s release, Ikuta Rira will embark on her “Ikuta Rira LIVE TOUR 2026 ‘Laugh’ “! The tour is set to feature a total of five performances across three vibrant locations. Catch her on May 5th and 6th at Kobe World Memorial Hall in Hyogo, on May 16th and 17th at Pia Arena MM in Kanagawa, and for a special international debut, on May 23rd at Olympic Park Olympic Hall in Seoul. This marks a significant milestone for Ikuta Rira as it will be her very first solo concert overseas!
Tickets for all performances are priced at 9,500 yen (tax included) for reserved seating. For domestic performances, an exclusive pre-order lottery for “Lilas MEMBERSHIP” members has commenced today via the global fandom platform Weverse. The application period for this special pre-order runs until January 12, 2026, at 23:59 JST. Please note that this is not a first-come, first-served system; a strict lottery will be conducted among all applicants within the designated period.
Furthermore, both the Regular Edition (First Press) and the Limited First Production Edition of the album will include a serial code, granting you the chance to apply for the advance lottery for tickets to the domestic performances in Hyogo and Kanagawa.
Since 2021, Ikuta Rira has consistently released numerous collaboration tracks, including commercial jingles, drama theme songs, and movie theme songs, showcasing her versatility. In March 2023, her 1st album, Sketch, achieved remarkable success, soaring to the #1 spot on the Oricon Weekly Digital Album Ranking. Not content with just musical endeavors, 2024 saw her expand her talents even further by starring as a lead voice actress in a movie, demonstrating her boundless artistic potential.
