The original story of *WIND BREAKER* comes from the brilliant mind of Nii Satoru, serialized on Kodansha’s official manga app “Magazine Pocket” in *Weekly Shonen Magazine*. This thrilling series tells the tale of delinquents who wield their fists not for destruction, but to protect what they cherish. The journey of the lonely protagonist as he forms unbreakable bonds with his companions and grows stronger, alongside a cast of equally charming characters, has captivated readers worldwide. In just four years since its serialization began, the manga has surpassed an impressive 10 million copies in circulation globally!
The highly anticipated live-action film brings this intense world to life. Mizukami Koushi takes on the role of the solitary high schooler, Sakura Haruka. Joining Sakura as members of the formidable “Bofurin” team are Kido Taisei, Tsuna Keito, BE:FIRST’s JUNON, Nakazawa Motoki, and Uesugi Shuhei. Adding a heartwarming presence to the Bofurin crew is Yagi Rikako, who portrays a character who watches over them. On the opposing side, portraying members of the rival “Shishigashira Ren” team are Yamashita Kouki and Hamao Noritaka.
The vibrant town where Bofurin’s dynamic battles unfold was entirely recreated through extensive location shooting across Okinawa. The film promises a thrilling “wind action” experience with speeds exceeding 25km/s, designed to pull viewers directly into the heart of the action.
