About Summer Pockets

Often nicknamed Samapoke, Summer Pockets is the 13th romance adventure game from VISUAL ARTS/Key, the studio behind beloved titles like CLANNAD, Little Busters!, and Angel Beats!. It first launched on June 29, 2018, followed by an enhanced version, Summer Pockets REFLECTION BLUE, on June 26, 2020. The TV anime adaptation, directed by Kobayashi Tomoki and animated by feel., aired from April to September 2025, with a theater-edited version released starting in August.

The story follows protagonist Takahara Hairi, who travels alone to Torishiroshima during summer vacation to sort through the belongings of his deceased grandmother. As he helps tidy up her mementos, he gradually adapts to the “island life” he’s experiencing for the first time, though initially bewildered. Through encounters with nature unseen in the city and meetings with various girls, Hairi embarks on a summer that stirs forgotten, nostalgic memories.
