The Idolmaster SideM Special Broadcast Welcomes New Hinata Kanon Voice Actor Ino Yukiteru

The Idolmaster SideM held a special live broadcast on September 1, and a brand-new voice actor took the stage: Ino Yukiteru, who now voices Hinata Kanon. The existing cast was quick to welcome him with open arms.

THE IDOLM@STER SideM is a “dramatic idol training game” that launched in July 2014 as the first male idol production game in the THE IDOLM@STER series. Its concept is “For a reason, we are idols!” Players become producers at 315 Production, guiding a diverse cast of male idols with backgrounds ranging from doctors and part-timers to Self-Defense Force members.

Hinata Kanon, a former child actor, is part of the kid idol unit “Momofuku-en” alongside Tachibana Shiro (CV: Furuhata Keisuke) and Okamura Nao (CV: Yano Shogo). He was previously voiced by Murase Ayumu.

During the broadcast, staff announced updates regarding Kanon’s voice schedule, as well as event, merchandise, and story information for THE IDOLM@STER SideM. A special segment also dug into what kind of person Ino is as the newest member.

After the stream, several cast members took to X to share their reactions.

Nakamura Shugo, voice of Tendou Teru, posted: “Ino Yukiteru! Yoroshiku from now on!”

Kano Sho, voice of Kamiya Yukihiro, wrote: “Thank you for watching!!!! Ino Yukiteru-kun!!! His nickname has become ‘Yukiteru’!!!! Please give him lots of support from now on!!!!”

Furuhata Keisuke, voice of Tachibana Shiro, added: “Thank you for the special SideM broadcast. Ino-kun, please take care of us!”

Fans were delighted by the cast’s camaraderie, commenting: “I’ve grown to love SideM even more!
