Katekyo Hitman REBORN! THE 100 DILEMMAS – The Hundred Dilemma- is a cooperative party game where players aim to unanimously answer tricky, mafia-themed dilemma questions posed by Reborn. It’s what you’d call a values judgment game.
Each player starts with two lives. If the group fails to reach a unanimous decision on a two-choice question, everyone loses one life. The goal is to achieve five unanimous answers before anyone runs out of lives.

The moment you pick it up, the binding reminds you of a Jump comic volume—it’s the kind of piece any fan would love to have on their shelf.
All the cover art is newly illustrated, but the back cover is a real standout. It features key characters like Gokudera Hayato, Yamamoto Takeshi, Lambo, Sasagawa Ryouhei, Hibari Kyouya, and Rokudo Mukuro. The visual captures their distinct personalities and relationships, packing in all that character charm.
It’s got that cool, intense vibe, but also those expressions and poses that instantly bring the original manga and anime to mind. Fans will probably find themselves just staring at it. The package itself is part of the fun, letting you soak in the series’ world even before you start playing.
Test Your Family Bonds! What Happened When We Actually Played…
Now, let’s get into how it actually played in our editorial office. This game works for 3 to 6 players, and the flexible player count is a nice feature. It’s easy to jump into whether your group is small or large, and the conversation flows naturally, making for a lively, fun time. We felt it’s the kind of game that breaks the ice easily, even with people meeting for the first time.
The heart of the game is the two-choice questions. They range from ones that hint at a person’s personality and thoughts to challenges where you predict someone’s attempt. It’s not about right or wrong answers; instead, conversations spark up like, “This person would probably choose this,” or “I bet they’d pick the other one surprisingly,” which really helps players understand each other better.
Before deciding which card to play, players can ask the answerer up to two questions. The answerer replies with “yes” or “no,” and other players use those hints to guess which choice they’ll pick. The crucial part here is getting everyone’s answers to match. Since it’s a unanimous game, if players’ answers don’t align from the start, it’s an immediate fail—so you need to discuss and sync up as a group.
Even if you think, “We know each other well, this should be easy,” some of the two-choice questions can be unexpectedly tricky. When we played, questions like “If you were reborn, would you prefer to be the opposite sex or the same sex?” came up, and precisely because we knew each other, it led to some hilarious dilemmas and really heated up the room.
Besides standard questions, there are also “challenge” topics where the answerer attempts a feat and others predict the outcome. One that got us especially pumped was the challenge: “How many wrinkles can you make on your forehead?” This question came at a critical moment where unanimous agreement was key to continuing the game—so literally, everything hung on the answerer’s “forehead.”
We unanimously agreed on “can make three or more,” but the result was a hilarious fail—they couldn’t make a single wrinkle! And just like that, our game was over.
We didn’t clear the game, but it was a blast that definitely brought our team closer. There are 100 question cards in total, so you can’t play through all of them in one session. It seems there are many more diverse topics beyond what we tried. Also, the cards have manga panels on them or character illustrations on the back, making them visually fun too. It’s a board game that sparks conversation through questions and lets you enjoy the series’ world through its art.
