The TV anime ‘Sousou no Frieren’ (also known as Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End) is getting a fantastic collaboration event titled “Umi Zoi no Machi Laguna Boukentan” (Seaside Town Laguna Adventure Tale). This special event will run from January 10 to May 10, 2026 at Lagunasia, the sea theme park located within the Laguna Ten Bosch resort in Gamagori City, Aichi Prefecture. About the Beloved Anime Series

‘Sousou no Frieren’ is a manga series serialized in Shogakukan’s Weekly Shonen Sunday, with original story by Yamada Kanehito and art by Abe Tsukasa. The story is set in the “aftermath” of a world where the Demon King has been defeated by a hero and his party. It follows the journey of Frieren, an elf mage who has lived for over a thousand years and helped vanquish the Demon King, as she travels with new companions to understand human emotions and memories.

With its unique premise set “after the demon king’s defeat,” the series delivers poignant drama, memorable lines, magical and sword-based battles, and heartwarming humor. The collaboration event “Umi Zoi no Machi Laguna Boukentan” at Lagunasia will unfold with an original storyline: Frieren and her party discover a “magic book” that holds clues to opening a “sealed door” leading to a “legendary treasure.” To decipher the book, they must solve the mysteries of “stone monuments” scattered throughout the town.

One of the main attractions is the park circuit puzzle rally called “Laguna Boukentan: The Mystery of the Magic Book.” Participants can enjoy a rally where they solve puzzles on stone monument panels dispersed around the park and collect fragments of incantations inscribed on them to open the sealed door. As a clear reward, you can receive a “Laguna Memory Photo-style Original Clear File”—one random file from a set of six designs.
