About Kimetsu no Yaiba

Kimetsu no Yaiba is an anime based on the manga by Gotouge Koyoharu, published in Shueisha’s “Jump Comics” with 23 volumes and over 220 million copies in circulation. It follows the story of Kamado Tanjirou, a boy whose family is killed by demons, as he joins the Demon Slayer Corps to turn his sister Nezuko, who has become a demon, back into a human. The series captivates fans with its poignant tale of humans and demons, intense sword fights, charming characters, and occasional comedic moments.

The animation is produced by ufotable, starting with the TV anime “Kimetsu no Yaiba: Kamado Tanjirou Risshi Hen” in April 2019. The series has expanded, and the movie trilogy “Kimetsu no Yaiba: Mugen Ressha Hen” (or Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle Arc) is in production, with “Chapter 1: Akaza Saikai” released on July 18, 2025.
