Based on the massively popular manga by Akasaka Aka (story) and Yokoyari Mengo (art), Oshi no Ko took the anime world by storm. The story begins with a rural gynecologist, Gorou, being reborn as the child of his “oshi” (favorite idol), Ai. After Ai’s sudden and tragic death, the narrative unfolds around the mystery surrounding her, her son Aqua’s quest for revenge, and a raw, unflinching look at the dark underbelly of the entertainment industry.

The first season aired in April 2023, followed by the second in July 2024. Its unique premise and shocking twists consistently dominated social media trends, creating a massive buzz. Now, the story continues as our characters navigate new heights and hidden depths in their careers.

What’s Next? Season 3 Story Premise

Six months have passed since the release of “POP IN 2.” Thanks in no small part to MEM-chou’s relentless efforts, the idol group B-Komachi is on the very cusp of a major breakthrough. Aqua is steadily walking the path of a multi-talented entertainer, while Akane has firmly established herself as a skilled, respected actress.

However, not all is well. Kana seems to have lost the bright sparkle she once had. Meanwhile, Ruby, driven by her pursuit of the truth behind the deaths of Ai and Gorou, is climbing the ranks of the entertainment world, using deception as her weapon. The stage is set for another intense and dramatic arc.
