Welcome back to the “Oshikatsu Life Diary” series, where we share tips and tricks to make your fan activities even more enjoyable! In the first article, we explored some great oshikatsu items from the 100-yen shop Daiso. This time, in my endless quest to elevate my oshikatsu game, I set my sights on a new goal…

“I want to store my oshikatsu goods more neatly!”

With that mission in mind, I rushed to my local 100-yen shop, Seria. While Daiso was impressive, Seria also boasts an amazing lineup of products perfect for any fan.

Store Your Silver Tape! The “Silver Tape Storage Case” and “Original Photo-In Key Holder”

The first thing that caught my eye was a storage case for silver tape. I have a confession: despite being deep into oshikatsu, I’m a bit of a messy, clumsy person with questionable taste. I had been struggling to even manage the silver tapes I brought home. I always thought I’d deal with it “someday,” and I’d seen the trendy and cute “silver tape ribbon” arrangements on social media, but that felt like a distant dream for my current skill level…

“I swear I’ll make a silver tape ribbon someday!!!!” I vowed to myself. This time, I picked up the “Silver Tape Storage Case (2-tier)” for storing and displaying tape, and the “Original Photo-In Key Holder (Silver Tape Size)” that lets you turn a piece of tape into a custom keychain. Let’s try them out.

First up, the “Silver Tape Storage Case (2-tier)”—so simple even the clumsiest person can use it. Just wind up the silver tape and pop it into the case. This simple step allows for neat storage, and when you want to rearrange your oshikatsu corner, you can just move the entire case.

After getting excited and feeling like a genius for making my display look nice, it was time to level up. I tried the “Original Photo-In Key Holder (Silver Tape Size)”. This fantastic item lets you turn a piece of silver tape into a keychain, so you can carry a piece of your oshi with you anywhere.

It even comes with a “nasukan” (split ring) and a “double ring,” so you can add other oshikatsu goods for extra decoration. You can create your own unique holder.

I immediately started cutting a piece of silver tape to fit the keyholder. I was nervous cutting into this precious, potentially irreplaceable tape.

Following the instructions from my trusty “instruction manual-sensei,” I prepared two pieces of tape cut to the same size so it could be enjoyed from both sides. After firmly sandwiching them in, my own original item was complete!

Make Your Nui-katsu Even Cozier! The “Plushie Futon”

Feeling supremely satisfied and possibly genius-level, let’s move on to the next item: the “Plushie Futon” from the Wotatomo series. Nui-katsu (plushie fan activity) was a huge trend in 2025, and I got totally hooked. I wanted to make my 2026 nui-katsu even better, but diving deep into it can get expensive, and honestly, I didn’t know where to start.

That’s when I found this product, the “Plushie Futon.” Just imagining the fluffy fabric wrapped around my oshi plushie created a scene of ultimate healing. Since my oshi‘s color scheme is almost entirely pink (with a few exceptions), I bought the pink one without hesitation.

When I actually put my plushie in, it was cuter than I ever imagined, and seeing my oshi sleeping was so soothing. With dimensions of 15cm high, 8cm wide, and 8cm deep, it’s the perfect size to snugly wrap up a standard plushie. It seems Seria is seriously committed to nui-katsu, as they have various other products available too. If any new nui-katsu items come out, I’ll definitely try them and share with all of you readers.

A Star at the Unattended (?) Birthday Party! The “LED Live Light (Heart-shaped)”

Finally, the last item to introduce is the write-and-glow “LED Live Light (Heart-shaped)”. This amazing item lets you write your favorite letters and light them up. I’ve loved sparkly things since I was a kid, so this is essentially a collaboration between “things I like (sparkles)” and “things I like to do (oshikatsu)”!

First, get a white marker. Write whatever you like and light it up. It’s incredibly fun at this stage, but it was a huge hit at the unattended birthday party. You can rewrite it as many times as you want, and you can make your love for your oshi shine as much as you want. Plus, it lights up in 7 colors in addition to random color-changing, so you can illuminate your oshi in their signature color. Seria has so many items that add that extra touch to your usual oshikatsu and leave you, the fan, feeling satisfied. This time, I felt like I grew a little from my “messy,” “clumsy,” “questionable taste” state. I want to keep trying various products and make my own oshikatsu even more exciting.
