From the legendary anime Shinseiki Evangelion (also known internationally as Neon Genesis Evangelion), a new collaboration has landed! The graphic apparel brand Graniph is releasing a full line of apparel and fashion goods, with pre-orders open now on their official online store until January 26, 2026.

Originally broadcast in 1995 as a 26-episode TV series by the visionary Anno Hideaki, Shinseiki Evangelion is a seminal sci-fi anime. It depicts the battles between teenagers piloting giant humanoid weapons and mysterious beings known as “Angels.” With its epic worldview and meticulously crafted details, it captivated countless fans and sparked a societal phenomenon, expanding into manga, films, and games.

The series reached its conclusion with the 2021 film Shin Evangelion Gekijouban (Evangelion: 3.0+1.0 Thrice Upon a Time), which set a series record with box office earnings of 10.28 billion yen.

Episode Titles Inspire the Collection

The Graniph collection features apparel and goods named after the iconic episode titles from Shinseiki Evangelion, such as Episode 1: “Shito, Shuurai” (Angel Attack), Episode 2: “Mishiranu, Tenjou” (The Beast), and Episode 7: “Hito no Tsukurishi Mono” (A Human Work).

Inspired by Episode 12, “Kiseki no Kachi wa”, this design captures the scene where Units-01, -02, and -00 race towards the predicted impact point to catch the falling 10th Angel, Sahaquiel. The parka features a transparent print of an A.T. Field on the front and an embroidered depiction of the three Evas on the back, all in a relaxed silhouette.

「最後のシ者」 (The Last Messenger)｜Big Silhouette T-Shirt

This piece draws from Episode 24, “Saigo no Shisha”, portraying the first meeting between Shinji and Nagisa Kaworu. It’s designed to evoke the moment so vividly, you can almost hear Kaworu’s humming. It’s a five-sleeve T-shirt made from a coarse, breathable jersey fabric with an oversized fit.

「瞬間、心、重ねて」 (Both of You, Dance Like You Want to Win!)｜Panel Big Silhouette T-Shirt

From Episode 9, “Shunkan, Kokoro, Kasanete”, this T-shirt uses fabric paneling to represent the perfect unison of Unit-02 and Unit-01, giving it a almost remade, patchwork look. The collar features the Eva’s remaining operational time, the left sleeve has a woven label of the episode title, and the back shows the split form of the Angel.

「死に至る病、そして」 (Splitting of the Breast)｜Loose Cargo Pants

Inspired by Episode 16, “Shi ni Itaru Yamai, Soshite”, these loose-fit cargo pants imagine the scene where Unit-01 is swallowed by the shadow of the 12th Angel, Leliel. Unit-01 is represented with embroidery, while the shadow is shown through fabric paneling. A key detail is the woven label of the episode title on the back pocket.

「Air」｜Track Jacket

Based on the film Shinseiki Evangelion Gekijouban: Air / Magokoro wo, Kimi ni (Death & Rebirth), this track jacket incorporates the battle scene between the Mass Production Eva Series and Unit-02.
