Get ready to indulge in a delightful collaboration! The “Eiga Doraemon Dorayaki” (Movie Doraemon Dorayaki) is making its delicious debut from the long-established confectionery maker, Bunmeido. This special dorayaki features limited-edition branding and packaging inspired by the upcoming film and will be available for a limited time only.
For those who might be new to the phenomenon, Doraemon is the beloved national manga series by the legendary Fujiko F. Fujio. The story follows a cat-type robot from the future named Doraemon, who works hard to help the protagonist, Nobita, grow into a capable adult. The TV anime series is currently airing every Saturday at 5:00 PM on the TV Asahi network across 24 stations.
The Doraemon movie series continues to charm audiences. March 2025 saw the release of Eiga Doraemon: Nobita no E Sekai Monogatari (Doraemon the Movie: Nobita’s Sketchbook World), the 45th-anniversary commemorative work. Now, fans are eagerly awaiting Eiga Doraemon Shin: Nobita no Kaitei Kiganjou, which can be translated as “Doraemon the Movie: The New Nobita and the Haunts of Evil.” This new film, weaving fresh emotion from a classic story, is set to premiere on February 27, 2026.
Bunmeido’s “Movie Doraemon Dorayaki”
To celebrate the release of Eiga Doraemon Shin: Nobita no Kaitei Kiganjou, Bunmeido has unveiled their carefully crafted dorayaki.
The “Movie Doraemon Dorayaki” uses a sweet red bean paste made from carefully simmered Hokkaido-grown adzuki beans, known for its moderate sweetness and juicy texture. The paste is wrapped in a fluffy, soft, and light cake that melts in your mouth.
Compared to Bunmeido’s flagship dorayaki, the “Mikasa-yama,” this new treat is slightly smaller in size, making it a perfect recommended snack for little kids.

Each dorayaki is stamped with a special brand featuring Doraemon wearing the secret gadget “Chameleon Hat” (Kameleon Boushi).
The packaging, with a background that imagines a sandy beach and sea, features colors that evoke a sparkling summer. On it, you’ll find Doraemon and Nobita, joined by the underwater buggy that appears in the movie, ready to welcome you.

The price for a single “Movie Doraemon Dorayaki” is 184 yen (tax included), while the “Movie Doraemon Dorayaki 5-pack” is 1,188 yen (tax included). The best-before date is 30 days from the manufacturing date.
Sales begin on February 14, 2026. The dorayaki will be available sequentially at Bunmeido’s directly operated stores, the Doraemon Future Department store, supermarkets that carry Bunmeido products, and more. Pre-orders are currently being accepted on the Bunmeido Online Shop.
