Square Enix has announced that Mochimaru Sakaki‘s light novel Sekai Saikyou no Majo, Hajimemashita: Watashi dake "Kouryaku Site" wo Mireru Sekai de Jiyuu ni Ikimasu will end with its sixth volume on October 7.
The fantasy adventure series began simultaneously on the Shousetsuka ni Narou and Kakuyomu websites in May 2022. Square Enix started publishing it under its SQEX Novel imprint in December 2022, with illustrations by riritto. The fifth volume was released in May 2025.
English Release and Manga Adaptation
Yen Press licensed the light novel in English in February 2025 and released the first volume in August 2025. The third volume will go on sale on November 10.
Tamaki Toga began drawing a manga adaptation in Getsumaga Kichi magazine in May 2023. Kodansha released the 13th volume on August 7.
Anime Adaptation
A television anime adaptation produced by Bridge and Aisle is scheduled to premiere on October 7.
