Beloved Sanrio Characters Get a Fashionable Upgrade with CITEN Collaboration!
A fantastic collaboration has been realized between Sanrio characters like Cinnamonroll, Hello Kitty, and My Melody and the apparel brand “CITEN” (pronounced “shiten”), which is operated by United Arrows. A total of 27 items, including T-shirts, tote bags, and flat pouches, will be released sequentially starting February 14, 2026.
About the CITEN Brand
CITEN debuted in the Fall/Winter 2021 season. The brand name originates from the concepts of “starting point,” “viewpoint,” and “fulcrum.” It’s a casual-focused fashion brand offering women’s and men’s wear and miscellaneous goods, currently operating 14 stores and 2 limited-time pop-up shops. For Spring 2026, it will open its first Kyushu-area location at AMU Plaza Hakata (Fukuoka City) and a new store in the Tokai region at AEON MALL Otaka (Nagoya City, Aichi Prefecture).
The Star-Studded Character Lineup
Leading the charge are nine hugely popular Sanrio characters: Cinnamonroll, Hello Kitty, My Melody, Pompompurin, Kuromi, Little Twin Stars (Kiki & Lala), Pochacco, Hangyodon, and KeroKeroKeroppi. They’re all making their appearance as part of CITEN’s fashionable apparel lineup.
Collaboration Details & Available Items
The items releasing from February 14th are designed to blend CITEN’s “simple, refined, yet playful designs” with these beloved characters, proposing easy-to-incorporate pieces for daily life.
The total of 27 collaborative items—T-shirts, Tote Bags, and Flat Pouches—will be available for purchase sequentially at all CITEN brick-and-mortar stores and their various EC (online shopping) sites. (Note: They will not be available at the new AMU Plaza Hakata or AEON MALL Otaka stores).
Special Greeting Event with Hello Kitty!
To commemorate this collaboration, a special greeting event where you can take photos with Hello Kitty will be held on February 14th at CITEN United Arrows Fujimi Store (Fujimi City, Saitama Prefecture).
Customers who make a purchase (including non-collaboration items) at the store will receive a “Hello Kitty – Let’s Take a Photo Together” ticket while supplies last.
The photo sessions will be held three times: at 1:00 PM, 2:30 PM, and 4:00 PM. You can choose your preferred time when receiving your ticket (time slots are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis and will close when each session is full).
Additional Spring Releases
Additionally, to coincide with the spring store openings, CITEN will also sequentially release items featuring original graphics drawn by the fashion brand “TOLIGHT” at all CITEN stores and their EC sites.
